The 11th Contracting Squadron intends to procure brand name Helicopter Terrain Avoidance Warning System (HTAWS) Desktop Trainer for the 811 Operations Squadron at Joint Base Andrews MD. The proposed navigational items will be solicited on a firm-fixed price basis with authorized resellers of Garmin and Sandel products, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(c). This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334511, and the small business size standard is 750 employees. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose proposal constitutes the best value to the Government utilizing Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation procedures. Vendors must be authorized resellers of ALL brand names.

The solicitation and specifications will be posted on or around June 10, 2014 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to monitor this website frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), in order to be eligible for award.
