This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101 requiring Contracting Officers to disseminate information for proposed contract actions expected to exceed $25,000.  Further in accordance with 6.302-1 it is the intent of Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to make award to Heckler and Koch(HK).

The intended order will provide ICE with various weapons parts for Heckler and Koch weaponry.  The original equipment manufacturer, Heckler and Koch will not authorize other than original manufactured parts in HK firearms.  The use of part other than those from the original equipment manufacturer will void the original factory warranty and may cause malfunctions with the weapons systems.

As a result the original equipment manufacturer is the only responsible source to provide HK parts for HK weapons.
