The City of Dacula (OWNER) is requesting bids to be submitted for the “Hebron Church Road Pavement Repair Project” located within the rights of way in the City Limits of Dacula, Georgia, more particularly described as follows: The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, furnishing of all labor, materials, and services necessary for pavement repair improvements to Hebron Church Road within the City Limits of Dacula as described below. Hebron Church Road is a residential road within the City that begins at Dacula Road and ends at Broad Street near Dacula High School. The existing pavement was milled and repaved from Dacula Road intersection to Broad Street intersection back in March 2016. Since then, the road has deteriorated in multiple areas showing signs of alligator cracking and sinking which need deep patching. The existing pavement section is 1” of ‘D’ Mix Asphalt Binder Course and 1-1/2” Type 1 - ‘F’ Mix (9.5 mm) Asphalt Surface Course over existing previous pavement and little to no base material. A previous asphalt core study was prepared by Piedmont Geotechnical Consultants, Inc. prior to milling and repaving back in 2016.
