Columbia County is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to design, install and configure a Mitel IP-based PBX telephone system for the Countyâs Management Information Services Department. The proposed Mitel VoIP solution will be a core technology within the County and must provide highly reliable voice and messaging capability. For compatibility purposes, only proposals that include Mitel equipment will be considered. The telephone PBX installation will be at 338 Old Highway 16 West, Wyocena, Wisconsin in the Highway Departmentâs server room. Desktop handsets will be distributed throughout the 2 floors of the Health Care Center Building located at 323 West Monroe Street, Wyocena, Wisconsin. The system will be used by approximately 150 county staff from two (2) departments (Highway and Health Care Center). The system will be installed in the first floor of the Highway Department Building with fiber optic data lines running between the buildings. Additionally, the PBX may need to be networked with a pre-existing Mitel PBX located at the Highway Department.
