CITY OF UNIONHEADWORKS SCREEN IMPROVEMENTS - 2022 Bids due 2:00 pm, February 1, 2023 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDSCity of Union, Oregon P.O. Box 529/342 South Main Street Union, Oregon 97883 The City of Union, Oregon, invites Bids for the construction of the Headworks Screen Improvements - 2022 project. The Work for this Contract involves the construction of a new headworks at the Owner's wastewater treatment facility, including a new headworks channel; rerouting and extending the 14-inch influent sewer pipe; installation of the new headworks screen provided by the Owner; and completion of miscellaneous electrical, control, and utility improvements; together with all other Work required to complete the Project as shown on the Drawings and specified. Bid Options for this Project include connecting the existing 8-inch gravity sewer pipe directly to the new headworks channel or rerouting the existing 8-inch sewer pipe as shown on the Drawings and providing and installing a weather-proofing package on the headworks screen or constructing a building over the new headworks channel. One Additive Alternative to the Project includes insulating the building over the new headworks channel, should that Bid Option be selected. Sealed Bids for the described Project will be received by the City of Union at Union City Hall, located at 342 South Main Street, Union, Oregon 97883, until 2:00 p.m., local time, February 1, 2023, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Contract is subject to the applicable provisions of ORS 279C.800 through ORS 279C.870, the Oregon Prevailing Wage Law. This Project is being funded by the City of Union, Oregon.
