The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority for FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within ten days after date of publication of this notice of intent. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Harvard Business Publishing is considered the supplier who can provide Harvard Business School case studies. Harvard Case Studies are the only case studies that will meet the needs of the National Defense University because they are faculty-selected required readings that are part of an established curriculum. Each individual case study supports specific ideas taught in the courses. Students cannot complete the course without reading the case studies and using them as references.
