9/6- SYNOPSIS:  The Marine Corps Air Station at Beaufort, SC has a requirement for the purchase of two harrows - one 3-point hitch 2 gang offset disc harrow and one heavy duty wheeled 2 gang offset disc harrow.

The proposed acquisition is SET ASIDE 100% FOR SMALL BUSINESS. The associated NAICS code is 333111, Farm Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing and the small business size standard is 1250 employees. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Information on registering in SAM may be obtained by calling (866) 606-8220 or via the internet at http://www.sam.gov. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items applies to this acquisition.

This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government will award a single contract, on an all or none basis for all line items, resulting from this request for quotes to the responsible vendor whose quote, conforming to the RFQ, represents the Best Value to the Government based on technical acceptability and price.

The Government reserves the right to award no contract at all; depending on the quality of the quotes submitted. The Government reserves the right to award without discussions, but reserves the right to engage in discussions if later determined to be in the best interest of the Government.

The solicitation will be available for download via the electronic data interchange at FedBizOpps, www.FBO.gov , on or about 3 days from this posting. It is the responsibility of the quoter to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments.
