The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Harris Corporation of Rochester, NY for the acquisition of Qty. 3 P/N AM-7588 50w Power Amplifier with VHF C O-LOC Filter for the Special Communications Requirements (SCR) Division of NAWCAD St. Inigoes, MD. The items requested will support the FOSOV sustainment effort for the MRAP vehicle program and the Ground Mobility Vehicle (GMV) legacy program. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. There are no subsitutes available for this service/material. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received within 15 days of publication of this notice. Responses should reference N68335-09-T-0225. The Navy anticipates award to be a firm fixed price contract. No solicitation will be available for this procurement.
