The Naval Air Systems Command, Precision Strike Weapons - PMA-201, intends to award a sole source contract to The Boeing Company, St. Louis, MO, for the acquisition of new or modifications to approximately six Harpoon Ship Command - Launch Control Sets (HSCLCS) in support of Foreign Military Sales (FMS). The supplies and/or services that will be procured include: software development; training and training devices; the design, fabrication, assembly and testing of prototypes; Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs); Ordnance Alterations (ORDALTS); launch system integration design and support; the manufacture, assemblies, installation and test of the Harpoon Missile Launch Systems Weapons Replaceable Assemblies (WRAs), Shop Replaceable Assemblies (SRAs) associated circuitry, and/or prototypes; and support equipment/GFE repair to include the furnishing of materials and services necessary to repair, inspect, modify, and/or return to ready-for-use conditions items for government property. The contract to be awarded will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP). This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
