The above referenced solicitation is hereby amended to incorporate changes to technical specifications, delete the requirements for installation and training, and extend the due date for quotations. The due date for quotations is hereby changed as follows: FROM: September 4, 2008, at 3:30 PM Eastern Time TO: September 15, 2008, at 3:30 PM Eastern Time. 1. The following technical changes are hereby incorporated and made a part of the solicitation: 1.1 SPECIFICATION 2 is hereby changed as follows: DELETE: 2. Must be capable of SHG generation of femtosecond pulses in the range 350-450nm. For 1W input (under nominal conditions of input wavelength of 800-820nm, input pulse duration of 100-120fs, and input pulse repetition rate of 76-80MHz) the SHG power must exceed 250Mw. Higher output levels are preferred; ADD: 2. Must be capable of SHF generation of femtosecond pulses in the range 350-450 nm; 1.2 SPECIFICATION 3 is hereby changed as follows: DELETE: 3. Must be capable of THG generation of femtosecond pulses in the range 235-300nm. For 1W input (under nominal conditions of input wavelength of 800-820nm, input pulse duration of 100-120fs, and input pulse repetition rate of 76-80MHz) the THG power must exceed 150mW. Higher output levels are preferred; ADD: 3. Must be capable of THG generation of femtosecond pulses in the range of 235-300 nm; 1.3 SPECIFICATION 4 is hereby changed as follows: DELETE: 4. Must be capable of FHG generation of femtosecond pulses in the range 210-225nm. For 2W input (under nominal conditions of input wavelength of 800-820nm, input pulse duration of 100-120fs, and input pulse repetition rate of 76-80MHz) the FHG power must exceed 150mW. Higher output levels are preferred; ADD: 4. Must be capable of FHG generation of femtosecond pulses in the range 210-225nm. 2. Line Items 0002 and 0003, Installation and Training, respectively, are hereby deleted from the solicitation in their entirety.
