COOS BAY SCHOOL DISTRICT HARDING SCHOOL ABATEMENT Bids Due 10:00 AM October 22, 2019 INVITATION TO BID Notice is hereby given that Coos Bay School District (the "District") will receive sealed bids for Harding School Abatement from qualified bidders at the District Office, 1255 Hemlock Ave, Coos Bay, Oregon 97420 until the bid closing time of 10:00 AM Pacific Time, Tuesday, October 22, 2019. The actual bid opening shall be conducted in the Conference Room at the District Office immediately following the bid closing time at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. A mandatory pre-bid walk-through of the project will be held at the Harding Learning Center, 755 S 7th St, Coos Bay, at 1:30 PM Pacific Time on Tuesday, October 8, 2019. Work for this Contract consists of asbestos abatement and other work as noted in the Bid Package. This work is in preparation for demolition of the Harding Learning Center building to facilitate construction of the new Marshfield Junior High School. Contractor or subcontractor is required to be licensed for asbestos abatement under ORS 468A.720.
