NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES

A. RFI Information and Ground Rules

This is a Request for Information (RFI) only. This is not a Request for Quotes or Request for Proposals. This RFI shall not be construed as a formal solicitation or an obligation on the part of the government to acquire any product or services. It does not guarantee a subsequent solicitation will be issued. Submission of any information in response to this RFI is completely voluntary, and costs associated with any submission shall not be reimbursed by the Government. The information requested will be used by the Air Force District of Washington Contracting Directorate (AFDW/PK) at Joint Base Andrews NAF, Maryland, 20762 to facilitate decision making.

B. Purpose

AFDW/PK is conducting Market Research to determine potential sources, industry interest and capability to meet the established requirements. The Government also seeks industry feedback and/or comments in regards to: the attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS), contract type, and suggested methodology to perform the required services. The Government will use the information collected from this market research to determine an optimal strategy for this requirement, should it come to fruition. The Government is interested in all potential sources that can meet all stated requirement needs, together in one solution. All responsible sources may submit a response to the RFI.

C. Background

HAF/A5R Directorate of Operational Capability, Special Access Programs (SAPs) services are defined (for this purpose) as Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) to provide support as outlined in the attached PWS. The anticipated Product Service Code is: R499.

These services are currently provided under Scitor Corporation DOI National Business Center Contract Number D12PC00461, Task Order Number D14PD00314. This Task Order is set to expire in 31 January 2016. For informational purposes only, the current work is performed by two Senior Analysts, one Security Representative, and two Senior Analysts with appropriate contract oversight.
