NOAA Fisheries Service, International Affairs and Seafood Inspection (IASI) overall mission is to facilitate trade and ensure a safe seafood supply. IASI provides training services to the seafood industry to ensure they have the knowledge and necessary skills to meet existing and evolving regulations based on Food Safety regulations and quality requirements.

IASI’s Education and Program Development Section provides ongoing HACCP, Food Safety and Quality training in multiple languages, including English and Spanish. Providing multi-lingual training is essential to meet the needs of a diverse international workforce.
