The United States Coast Guard (USCG) has a requirement to purchase an aircraft parts (production and spares) to produce and sustain its fleet of MH-65E Short Range Recovery (SRR) helicopters. The part required is an Automated Flight Control System (AFCS) Control Panel.

The attached, approved and redacted Justification and Approval (J&A) supports issuance of this solicitation as a sole source effort to the OEM, Rockwell Collins.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. USCG plans to issue one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract using the procedures of FAR Part 12.

This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-84.
