The work of this project consists of the investigation and evaluation of 11 water wells located in the central portion of Mojave National Preserve, CA. The Contractor will evaluate and provide a recommendation for each well investigated, for the purpose of either deconstructing the well to State standards, or for the construction of a State approved sanitary seal. The investigation shall be accomplished through the use of high resolution, down-hole color televising equipment with a minimum horizontal resolution of 450 lines. Equipment shall have lighting with intensity sufficient to clearly illuminate all viewing area within the equipment's focus range; ability to rotate 360 degrees in horizontal panning motion and 90 degrees in vertical lift from axial centerline. Initial submission of the report will be required not later than 30 days after completion of the field work, or no later than November 1, 2004. The NAICS is 213111 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The magnitude of the project is expected to be less than $25,000. The contractor is responsible for periodically checking the website for any Amendments that may be issued prior to the closing date of the RFQ.
