The Charlie Norwood VAMC at One Freedom Way, Augusta, GA 30901 is seeking a small commercial sources for a certified medical physicist to provide inspections for the Siemens 1.5T MRI System and the Siemens 3T MRI, testing and certification of mammographic work station, and testing of new bone density equipment for patient safety and the necessary certification and accreditation for operation of said equipment. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed for the requirement is 541690. The size standard for NAICS 541690 is $15M. The Government is interested in all small businesses including Small Business, 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, and Woman Owned Small Businesses that are interested in providing this requirement. The Government requests interested parties submit a response that includes a brief description of their company's business size (i.e. annual revenues and employee size), business status (i.e., Small Business, SDB, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOB, etc., and a list with appropriate reference information of same/similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers. This procurement has been set-aside for a 100% small business at a firm-fixed price. Interested firms are requested to provide their aforementioned information, along with interest and capability statements, no later than November 10, 2014.
