Quotes are being requested in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The base period of performance is estimated to begin July 2016 and will not extend past two years based on the date of award. The total period of performance consists of one base period and one option period. The base period of performance for this purchase order is for twelve months. The option period shall not exceed twelve months. The Government is under no obligation to exercise the option period. Please see the attached Statement of Work for project details. The performance of this contract will take place at the following locations: Target Sensor Pod Areas (Red Dots = SCAQMD sites; Blue Dots = School/EJ Areas; Gray Polygon = General Area of Interest Salton Sea - Mecca, CA (2-3 sensors) - 1 collocated with Saul Martinez SLAMS - 1 collocated with Indio SLAMS - 1 at Mecca Elementary School Rubidoux/Mira Loma - Riverside, CA (2-3 sensors) - 1 collocated with Rubidoux SLAMS - 1 collocated with Mira Loma SLAMS - 1 at Rubidoux High School Carson-Wilmington Area (3-4 sensors) - 1 collocated with Long Beach Near-road SLAMS - 1 collocated with Long Beach Hudson SLAMS - 1 at Carson Senior High School - 1 at Wilmington Middle School Please review the following attachments associated with this Request for Quote before submitting questions or submitting an offer: 1. Interested contractors must submit the following quotation package: 1. An executed copy of Standard Form 18. Please ensure blocks 12-18 are completed. 2. A firm fixed price quote consisting of the requested services, materials, and personnel. 3. An acknowledgment that your organization is registered and has an up to date System for Award Certification. 4. A technical proposal based on Technical Instructions (Attachment 3) A firm fixed price purchase order will be issued to the successful vendor that provides the lowest priced technically acceptable quote.
