THE NATIONAL INSTITUTES OF HEALTH (NIH), National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), Office of Acquisition (OA), for the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) has a requirement for genotyping of DNA samples to study the genetic susceptibility to the vascular disease, restenosis.
The reference solicitation number is: NHLBI-PB(HG)-2008-057-KLW.
This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).
This acquisition is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 13, simplified acquisition procedures and the resultant purchase order will include all applicable provisions and clauses in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 05-22.
The total estimated amount of this contract is NOT expected to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold of $100,000.00.
Market research conducted by the Government in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations, Part 10 - Market Research, has determined that there are no reasonable expectations of obtaining two or more small business offers. Therefore, the acquisition is being conducted on a competitive unrestricted basis, with no set aside restrictions. The North American Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 541380 and the associated small business size standard is $ 6.5 Million.

You are invited to submit a quotation / proposal for the Genome Wide SNP Genotyping for CardioGene Genetic Studies of Restenosis.
The quotation / proposal due date is January 28, 2008.
