GSA is Looking for Land
The General Services Administration of the United States Government is interested in:
- Obtaining a site donation
- Acquiring a site with an assignable option
The property must:
- be a minimum of 8 acres in size
- a minimum of 100' setback is required on all sides
- a minimum of 300' setback is required from high tension power lines in addition above setback.
- be contained within the following boundaries, which include the Central Business District:
North: I-80, North Temple
East: State Street
South: 4500 South from I-15 west to 5600 West (changes to 4700 South)
West: 5600 West
- The site will be for development of an FBI Field Office to be constructed for occupancy in 2010.
Expressions of interest must include the following information:
- Plat of the offered site indicating size
- Address
- Legal description
- Identification of existing structures
- Any encumbrances on the land which may affect development schedules
Expressions of interest are due by COB April 17, 2008. Expressions submitted by agents must be accompanied by documentary evidence of the agent's authority to represent the owner of the property. Historic locations within the delineated area are encouraged to offer.
