USDA, ARS, Pullman, WA has a requirement to for a Growth Chamber.   

 

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation is attached. The solicitation number is AG-0521-S-17-0030 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates those provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. The Government intends to issue a firm-fixed price service contract for this requirement.

 

The Specifications for the requested Growth Chamber are below:

 

•       Exterior dimensions (assembled): 100” width x 35.5” Depth x 101” height

•       Provides a growth height of 59.75, 25 or 14 inches depending on if you have one, two or three tiers installed.

•       Provides a growth area of 19, 38, or 57 square feet depending on if you purchase one, two or three tiers.

•       Two counter-balanced adjustable height lamp canopies are equipped with a combination of T5HO fluorescent and halogen incandescent lamps providing a maximum light intensity of 1125 umol/m2/s-1 at 6 inches for one tier or 500 umol/m2/s-1 at two or three tiers.

•       Temperature Range +10C to +40C all lights on and +4C to +40C all lights off.

•       Chamber controller managed with a digital or touchscreen interface.

•       Equipped with a remote air-cooled condenser in the refrigeration system.

Award will be made to the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Offer.
