USDA, ARS, Pullman, WA intends to award a sole source purchase order Percival, 505 Research Drive, Perry, Iowa 50220 for a Percival Scientific Growth Chamber Model-36HO. This model is necessary to add to existing chambers of the same make and mode that allow CO2 control.  These have scrubbers (to reduce CO2) and capacity to add CO2 to mimic future concentrations.  The chambers must also be the same as our previously purchased chambers to insure continuity of research data..

Our justification to award is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
