Imperial Irrigation District (IID) is seeking qualified contractors for groundwork services at the New Niland Substation project in accordance with this complete digital solicitation package. The project work will include the foundation installations, conduit installations and grounding. It will also has include an installation of distribution underground conduit system outside the substation. Some conduits for distribution purposes will come out of the substation and will be connected to an outside distribution vault at the South side of the substation and other circuits will also run to the South side to connect at a riser pole and a second vault as depicted in the engineering drawings. The schedule for construction is important for the project. Foundation work and Vault/ Conduit installation tasks must start at the same time.
