Eastman Parkway, Gresham, Oregon 97030, addressed to Rob Chapler, until Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. local time. Late bids will be retained unopened. The bids will be publicly opened immediately thereafter in front of Gresham City Hall near the main entrance. The Engineer's Estimate for this project is $500,000. The Work of this Contract under the Base Bid generally includes the following: · Excavation to expose existing risers and flanges. Sidecast of excavation removals downstream of the risers. · Removal of existing risers by unbolting the existing flange connection. · Fabrication of new 14-inch diameter HDPE riser assemblies and custom backing rings to match the bolt pattern of the mating existing backup rings. · Installation of Owner-furnished diffuser check valves onto the new HDPE riser assemblies. · Installation of the new riser/diffuser check valve assembly onto the existing riser and bolting in place. This project is for public work and is subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870, the Oregon Prevailing Wage Law. All bids must be submitted on the forms furnished by the City of Gresham, mailed or delivered in a sealed envelope plainly marked "SEALED BID for GRESHAM WWTP OUTFALL DIFFUSER IMPROVEMENTS" and bearing the name and address of the bidder.
