****NOAA's Acquisition & Grants Office, Western Acquisition Division-Boulder, intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) with Juan de Fuca Express.

Juan de Fuca Express is the only vendor to meet the needs of the MML to conduct the work as outlined in the Statement of Work. Juan de Fuca Express possesses the unique qualifications in terms of experience, equipment, vessel, residency, Canada citizenship and research permits to conduct the research. No other vendor that MML has researched can meet the requirements to fulfill this proposed contract.

Base Year: 15 August 2019 - 16 August 2020
Option Year 1: 15 August 2020 - 16 August 2021
Option Year 2: 15 August 2021 - 16 August 2022
Option Year 3: 15 August 2022 - 16 August 2023
Option Year 4: 15 August 2023 - 16 August 2024

A determination by the Government not to conduct a competitive procurement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
