CITY OF EAST PROVIDENCE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS EP 20/21-12 WEBSITE ADVERTISEMENT BID OPENING TUESDAY, MARCH 30, 2021 GRASSY PLAINS PARK TENNIS COURT FENCE INSTALLATION ESTRELL DRIVE The City of East Providence is soliciting proposals from companies with expertise in installing chain link fencing for tennis courts. The existing courts are located at the Grassy Plains Park complex across from 144 Estrell Drive. The court area consists of recently placed hot mix asphalt. It is our intention to replace the existing chain link fence and gates with new black vinyl 10-foot high chain link fence. The City may elect to choose the add/alt item where the contractor shall remove and dispose of the existing chain link fencing and concrete post foundations. Specifications may be downloaded from the City’s website https://eastprovidenceri.gov/rfp Four (4) copies of a proposal shall be submitted in one (1) sealed envelope to East Providence City Hall, Controllers Office, Room 103, Attn: Dawn Kenney, Procurement Specialist, 145 Taunton Ave., East Providence, RI 02914 no later than TUESDAY, MARCH 30, 2021 AT 11AM. The bids will be publicly recorded. Bids received with a time of 11:01 AM or later will be rejected. The outside envelope needs to be marked BID EP20/21-12. The City reserves the right to reject any/or all companies, to waive any informality in the qualification statement, and to pre-qualify any company based on what the City deems to be in its best interest.
