The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is requesting bids for the furnishing of live fathead minnows grade 11-18 and Golden shiners that have been tested for pathogens, including Viral Hemorrhagic Septicemia (VHS) virus, Fathead Minnow Nidovirus (FHMNv), Infectious Hematopoietic Necrosis (IHN) virus, Infectious Pancreatic Necrosis (IPNv) virus, Spring Viremia of Carp (SVCv) virus, Heterosporis spp, and Contracecum spp, and meet the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) fish health standards for importation, if the fish will be imported into Wisconsin. Deliveries will be from June 2015 to October 2015. Minnows shall be delivered to the DNR facilities referenced below on the Bid Price Sheet. Order quantities and location may be increased or decreased depending upon the Department’s needs.
