The purpose of this notice is to determine the interest for an Aquatic Organism Passage (AOP) Culvert Replacement Project for the Yampa Ranger District of the Medicine Bow/Routt Forest and Thunder Basin National Grasslands. The intent of this project is to award one firm fixed price contract. Work will consist but not limited to; traffic control, surveying, erosion control, removing the existing culvert, structural excavation, backfill, installation of precast concrete footing and stem walls, fabrication of government furnished structural plate arch culver, streambed simulation, seeding, and topsoil. Estimated size of this project is $25,001 - $150,000. Bonding will be required. Estimated start work would be August of 2013 with a pre-proposal site meeting mid-July.
