This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS / SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued as Request for Quote (RFQ) AG-82MK-S-14-0011. FAR clauses and provisions enclosed within this RFQ are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-73 and are available in full text through Internet access at http://www.acquisition.gov/far.

The United States Forest Service encourages the participation of small, disadvantaged, service disabled veteran, and women owned business enterprises. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336214 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Responsible small business concerns may submit an offer which will be considered by the Forest Service.

The Government requires performance of the work described in these documents to supply and deliver a Titan Primo gooseneck four-horse trailer, or equivalent, as further described in the attached specifications.

Proposals are due for this combined synopsis/solicitation on June 11, 2014 at 3:00PM Mountain Time and shall be delivered by the specified time to the USFS, 2250 Highway 50, Delta CO 81416. Facsimile proposals will not be accepted. Proposals may be submitted electronically to [email protected]. Offers shall be submitted on the SF 1449.

Award will be made on the basis of lowest priced, technically acceptable offer. Offerors shall submit flyers, brochures, or other technical data about the items being offered to demonstrate and document conformance with the Government's specifications.

Offerors must be registered at the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov) to be eligible for award.
