The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), a bureau of the Department of Treasury, intends to issue a sole source purchase order utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Thomson Reuters for access to their Gold Sheets Weekly and Middle Markets reports.  The Gold Sheets application provides up-to-date statistical and analytical information, and breaking news on syndicated credits in an electronic format that can easily be disseminated.  The period of performance for this requirement is October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2012.  This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; a solicitation document will not be issued.  All information received within 3 days of the date of this notice (with pricing and sufficient technical documentation to establish a bona fide capability to meet the requirement) will be considered by the OCC.  A determination not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the OCC.  Information received will be considered primarily for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
