HUD's Office of General Counsel (OGC) supports Ginnie Mae's programs and provides legal advice to Ginnie Mae on a broad range of matters. In addition to existing in-house expertise, OGC requires a broad range of expert legal services from outside counsel to support the Ginnie Mae Multiclass programs.

Contractor shall perform legal services for HUD to support OGC and Ginnie Mae. The legal services shall include, but are not limited to, the following subject areas and similar related work: Multiclass Securities (Multiclass) Programs and Tax Law.

This requirement is a full and open competition utilizing FAR Part 15 procedures. All conforming proposals are due to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, OCPO, Attention: Claudia S. Womble, Contracting Officer, 451 7th Street SW, Washington, DC 20410. Proposals will not be received via fax.

All questions pertaining to this requirement must be received by Monday, April 18, 2011 in accordance with Section L of the solicitation. After this date, the Government will utilize its unilateral discretion in responding to any questions after this date.
