The U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with GLOBALSTAR USA, LLC for technical & compliance assistance for court documents. The court reporting systems are proprietary to GLOBALSTAR USA, LLC. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.207( c)(16)(ii), vendors that feel they can meet the Government's requirements may submit a capabilities statement which shall be considered by the agency. In accordance with FAR Part 13, the Government intends to issue a single firm fixed price purchase order. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In accordance with the FAR, the Justification for Sole Source will be posted 14 days after the award. This requirement is set aside for Small Business Only. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available.
