This notification is to announce the Mission and Installation Contracting Command's (MICC) - Fort Eustis, VA intent to issue a single source contract to Buffalo Computer Graphics (BCG) for Software for the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) and Electronic Chart Display Information System (ECDIS) for the Marine Simulations Division (MSD). An upgrade for the current GMDSS/ECDIS simulator training platform to serve the Transportation School at Fort Eustis, which the program is responsible for the training of Army watercraft personnel in Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 88K Watercraft Operator, 88L Watercraft Engineer, 88H Cargo Specialist, 880A Marine Deck Officer and 881A Marine Engineering Officer in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), Soliciting from a single source not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. The applicable NAICS code is 511210, Computer Software with a size standard $38.5 Million.

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and a solicitation will not be issued. However, interests or concerns submitted in response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government.
