The bids will be publicly opened immedi ately thereafter in CONFERENCE ROOM 2B. The Engineer's Estimate for this project is a range from $800,000 - $850,000. The character of the work is lane widening, intersection improvements, utility under grounding and new traffic signal construction. Copies may be obtained from the Depart ment of Environ mental Services by paying a non-refundable fee of $25 for each set of Contract Documents requested. If ordered by mail, add a $5 processing and mailing charge. The apparent low bidder will be required to have a copy of the applicable edition of the City of Gresham Public Works Stand ards. This project is for public work and is subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870, the Oregon Prevailing Wage Law. All bids must be submitted on the forms furnished by the City of Gresham, mailed or delivered in a sealed envelope plainly marked "SEALED BID for GLISAN AND 181ST INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS" and bearing the name and address of the bidder. The bid must be accompa nied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid.
