AMENDMENT NOTICE: The purpose of this amendment is to correct the NAICS code to 541519 and clarify that the requirement is for New Equipment ONLY; NO remanufactured or "gray market" items. All items must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is EE-1330-13-RQ-0882.
This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) per the specifications provided in the attached document. This is a small business set aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541519.

The National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration requires the following items, Exact Match Only, to the following:
LI 001: GVS-432, GigaVUE-2404 8 10G ports, 4 1G ports with Citrus and CLI management, AC power (Qty 1)
LI 002: PRT-438 - 10 GigaPORT-8X, 8x10G fiber SFP+ port expansion blade for GigaVUE-2404 (Qty 1)
LI 003: SFP-532 - 10 Gig SFP+, Multimode 850nm SR (Qty 16)

All responsible sources that can meet the requirement as stated may respond to this solicitation by submitting a quote, to be received no later than Tuesday, September 19, 2013 at 4:00 PM EST. Offerors should provide and quote a total solution for each line item and/or product specified on the attached solicitation document. Quotes should be emailed to [email protected] no later than the date/time specified. The Government reserves the right to make one award or no award at all as a result of this solicitation.

Offeror must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database before an award can be made to them. If the offeror is not registered in the CCR, it may do so through the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov.
