The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL hereby gives NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE to Acoustic Technology, INC System to provide 42 Communication Squadron with Giant Voice System Spare Parts in accordance with (IAW) the attached Statement of Requirements (SOR).

Brief Description of Requirement: The contractor shall provide for delivery of Giant Voice System Spare Parts IAW SOR. In addition thesystem must be able to provide signals or messaging appropriate to Force Protection Conditions, watches, warnings, evacuations routes, and other alerting information to meet Federal, DOD, Air Force, and AETC and base specific warning and notifications. The Government is contemplating an “OR EQUAL” acquisition for the name brand items listed in the tables listed in Paragraph 1.1 and Appendix A of the SOR. For all items listed, please provide manufacturers, part numbers, and specifications for any compatible equipment other than the brand name item listed. If no “Or equal” exists, your response is also requested.

There will be no written solicitation issued. This is an intent to purchase a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). This will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

The contractor needs to be registered in the DoD System for Award Management (SAM). Register via the SAM website https://www.sam.gov, and also be eligible to process invoices through Wide Area Workflow (WAWF). Register via the WAWF website https://wawf.eb.mil.
