In accordance with the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, the Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a sole source delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-05-G-0009 to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC) for a study which will identify areas of synergy between the USAF Global Hawk and the USN BAMs programs in approaching issues of integration of UAS operations in both national and international airspace as well as in development of collision avoidance defense in depth material and non-material solutions. NGCS is the prime contractor for the design, development and manufacture of the Global Hawk Unmanned Air Vehicle System, and is currently performing the operations, maintenance and support functions for GHMD. Unless otherwise stated herein, no formal request for proposal or additional written information is currently available. Request for the same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only.
