Sealed bids are invited for the purchase of 10 Getac ruggedized tablets for the Washington County Sheriff’s Office located at 500 Rolfs Avenue, West Bend WI 53095. Bids will be publicly opened and recorded in Room 1063 of the Washington County Government Center Building following the bid due date and time. Bids shall be made on the bid forms provided in the bid packet and partial bids will not be allowed. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office has standardized their operations to the Getac ruggedized tablets therefore substitutions will not be accepted for this request. Firms may be interested to know that Getac has provided special pricing for the County’s tablets in the past as this is the sixth consecutive year the County has purchased these tablets. Special Pricing Agreements (SPA) may still be available through Getac for this year’s bid on these tablets. Accepted bidder will also be required to furnish an acceptable Certificate of Insurance upon award. Washington County reserves the right to waive any informalities or technicalities and to reject any and all bids deemed to be unsatisfactory or not in the County’s best interest. Furthermore, Washington County reserves the right to cancel any order or contract for failure of the successful bidder to comply with the terms, conditions and specifications of the bid request and/or contract. Washington County reserves the right to award the bid in the aggregate or by item or like item groups (where applicable) to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder who complies with the specifications, service and can meet the requirements of this bid.
