NCS Technologies is the Only One Responsible Source IAW FAR 6.302-1

GETAC F110 tablets are to be used as an e-tools platform, do to limited wireless Internet capability, cellular data is required to maintain connection to the Internet. The contractor in question, NCS Technologies, manufactured and applied the original modification to F110 system.

NCS Technologies, being the manufacturer of the F110 tablets, is the only company qualified and capable to properly modifying them. Also the warranty on tablets would be voided if the modification was done by any other company.Accordingly, NCS Technologies is the only firm capable of providing the supplies and services described in Section III above, without the U.S. Air Force experiencing substantial duplication of cost that could not be expected to be recovered though competition and unacceptable delays in fulfilling its requirements.
