The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, intends to enter a 3 year, basic ordering agreement on a sole-source basis to Mid Atlantic Computer Service, Inc. (D/B/A The ProCustom Group) for GETAC A790 laptop (P/N: 3574AS240-1) repairs in support of the MQ-8B Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program.

The GETAC A790 laptop has been modified to include peculiar software required for use with the MQ-8B aircraft. This customized version of the A790 laptop is defined as the Fire Scout Maintenance Portable Electronic Display Device (MPEDD) Laptop Computer. The MPEDD A790 is a specialized, portable, lightweight computer that meets Electro-Magnetic Interference (EMI) requirements. The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) GETAC, Inc. does not repair their laptops and The ProCustom Group is the only company that is authorized to repair their laptops without voiding the 5-year warranty.

NAVAIR intends to procure under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit or enter into an agreement. This notice of intent is for informational purposes only, and not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not pay for any responses in regards to this notice.

Respondents to this RFI should provide the following:

- Technical and experience information on their ability to provide that meets the parts list above
- Identification of business size, specifically, small business size status ( i.e. Small Business, Hubzone, 8(a), SDVOSB, etc.).

In addition, all vendors must be registered in Systems for award Management (SAM Database. The internet website is hhtps://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. It is mandatory to register with the SAM as your DUNs Number (Data Universal Numbering System) and your CAGE CODE (Commercial and Government Entity) code will be required to conduct business with the Department of Defense. In addition, all invoices will be electronically submitted in the Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF); information will be available in subsequent order. Please include CAGE CODE, DUNs Number, and payment terms in your response. Responses should reference N68335-20-Q-0118. All responses received within the 15 days of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government.
