The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to issue a purchase order to Quova Inc., 707 California Street, Mountain View, CA 94041 for Quova GeoPoint Software Subscription Renewal. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) - only one responsible source and no other supplier or services will satisfy the agency requirements. Quova, Inc. is the only manufacturer and seller of the Quova GeoPoint Software Subscription. This software must be compatible with the current Quova GeoPoint Software that the FBI currently owns. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-50. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 518210. A quote is being solicited under Request for Quotation (RFQ) 0910036. This procurement will be a firm fixed price contract for a period of 12 months plus (1) Option Year period. The option year may be exercise depending on the continuing need and the availability of funds. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Based on the market research, it has been determined that Quova, Inc., is the only source available to meet the FBI's requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
