The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to issue a purchase order to Quova, Inc., located at 707 California Street, Mountain View, CA  94041 for Quova GeoPoint Software Subscription Renewal.  This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquistion Procedures (SAP) - only one responsible source and no other supplier or services will satisfy the agency requirements.  Quova, Inc., is the only manufacturer and seller of the Quova GeoPoint Software Subscription.  This solicitation document, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-41.  The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 518210.  A quote is being solicited under Request for Quotation (RFQ) 0900047.  This acquisition will be a firm fixed price for a period of 12 months.  The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.  Based on the market research, it has been determined that Quova, Inc., is the only source available to meet the FBI's requirement.  This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.  If any interested party would like to be considered for an award, please submit a written statement indicating your interest as well as technical qualifications and experience to fulfill this requirement by 3:00 PM ET on May 25, 2010 to Attention:  Mabel Comfort, Contracting Officer at [email protected].  A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is based upon responses received and is at the sole discretion of the Government.  If no competitive responses are received by the closing date of this RFQ, an award will be made to Quova, Inc.  The Government reserves the right to award without discussion.
