The quoted geolocators/loggers must meet the following salient characteristics:-Must be able to record geolocation data for an entire year.-Must have custom programming for depth and temperature intervals.-Must record depths (pressure) up to 200m at least once a day.-Must record temperature at least once a day.-Can be no larger than 3.6 grams, as they will be on a small bird.-Must have at least 512k memory. This is so the depth and temperature data can be recorded at high resolution for one year.-Batteries must last at least 2 years.
