The 52d Contracting Squadron is in search of a vendor (preferably local to Spangdahlem AB, Germany ZIP (54529) that can supply 1 Generator with the following specs: (at least) 250kW 440V 50-60Hz (see attachments for examples). Generator must also have noise cancelling capability as it will be next to an office building. When responding to this sources sought, please provide the following information:

Additional information to consider:
1. The purpose of needing 50-60Hz is because in order for the generator to truly be a backup generator, it also needs to be compatible with 50 Hz items.  The customer has said that the multi-frequency 50-60Hz is preferred over the 60 Hz but they'd like to see the difference in purchase and lease options.

2. They also stated if they decide to lease it would be for at least 1 year; therefore we would need to know the monthly lease rate for a minimum of 1 year lease and possibly two 4 month options (if we need to extend the contract longer). 

3.  How often they would be using the generator - on average 4 hrs per day (5 days/ week).               

4.  The type of fuel they would use for it - 100% diesel or SFD Sulfur Free Diesel (both are locally purchased).
