Synopsis:
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; this is a notice to solicit on a sole source basis and a quote is being requested as a written solicitation will not be issued. The intent is to award a contract on a sole source basis to the University of Washington, 433 Brooklyn Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98195.

(i) INTRODUCTION - This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.

(ii) SOLICITATION TYPE This solicitation, numbered W911QY-17-T-0007, is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ).

(iii) CURRENTNESS The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-94, 2005-95 / 01-19-2017

(iv) SET ASIDE - Not applicable, NAICS 541611

(v) REQUIREMENT - The government requires the following services:

The Contractor Representative Scientist shall: develop computation methods for the identification of gene signatures predictive of ectopic pregnancy; normalize and pre-process gene expression data; identify gene signatures predictive of ectopic pregnancy using gene expression data; identify the specific gene signatures by integrating gene expression data, clinical data, and prior knowledge from the literature and assist with data input and preparation of data for analysis; do a computational assessment of accuracy and robustness of gene signatures; and, shall provide a laboratory assessment of determined and provided gene signatures.

It is anticipated that there will be two Contract Line Items, and the Offeror shall provide pricing as structured below. T
