The U. S. Department of Commerce, Eastern Region Acquisition Division-Kansas City, (ERAD-KC), NOAA intends to solicit for purchase of 600 each Gearmotor, 4 VDC, 3.72 RPM, F&P/Belfort Model No. 165K002U01, Rev 8 or equivalent, NSN: 6660-00-916-1274 and ASN: D550-B101. This item is being purchased for the National Weather Service (NWS) to be delivered to the National Logistics Support Center, Kansas City, MO. The supplies are to be shipped on a FOB Destination basis. The intended procurement is for supplies for which the Government intends to acquire under the guidelines of FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The Government will require a first article for testing under this requirement. The NAICS code for this action is 335999. The NWS special packaging/marking requirement will be applicable. All contractors doing business with the ERAD-KC must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) or certification of registration in the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).
