The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Aberdeen Proving Ground, Natick Contracting Division in support of the U.S. Army Natick Soldier Research, Development and Engineering Center (NSRDEC) Warfighter Directorate intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Agilent Technologies, Inc., located at 5301 Stevens Creek Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95051-7201, under the authority as prescribed in FAR 13.106(b)(1). The requirement is for the disassembly, movement/relocation, and reassembly/setup of Agilent gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (CG/MS) equipment, which is currently under warranty and under an existing service agreement with Agilent, for the Textile Materials Evaluation Team (TMET).

No other source for this service can be used as using any other vendor would void the current warranties for this equipment and terminate the current service agreement already in place.
