The Air Armament Center, 708th Armament Systems Group, Eglin AFB, FL, is currently in a competitive Joint Concept Technology Demonstration (JCTD) as a risk reduction for the follow-on Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) and production of the Hard Target Void Sensing Fuzes (HTVSFs). The HTVSF system is required to successfully integrate into the GBU-28C/B, GBU-28D/B, and GBU-28E/B for the BLU-113 weapon systems. To facilitate this integration, we are contemplating issuing a contract modification to existing contract FA8678-04-C-0024 with Raytheon Missile Systems Company to procure up to 20 each GBU-28E/B Telemetry Kits. Interested parties must have rights to the technical data package(s) for the GBU-28E/B and a signed agreement with the HTVSF contractor(s) to permit sufficient access to the weapon and fuze system data necessary to conduct the required effort. Responses to this synopsis should be submitted for receipt by the Government within 15 days of the publication date and must state whether the potential source is a small business concern IAW FAR 52.219-1. Responders to this synopsis will not be provided with the results of the Government evaluation of their qualifying package. The NAICS Code/Size Standard is 336414/1000 employees. An Ombudsman has been appointed to address concerns from offerors and potential offerors.
