The Air Armament Center, 708th Armament Systems Group, Eglin AFB, FL, is currently in a competitive Joint Concept Technology Demonstration (JCTD) as a risk reduction for the follow-on Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) and production of the Hard Target Void Sensing Fuzes (HTVSFs). The HTVSF system is required to successfully integrate into the GBU-28C/B, GBU-28D/B, and GBU-28E/B for the BLU-113 weapon systems. To facilitate this integration, we are contemplating issuing a contract modification to existing contract FA8678-04-C-0024 with Raytheon Missile Systems Company to procure up to 20 each GBU-28E/B Telemetry Kits. Interested parties must have rights to the technical data package(s) for the GBU-28E/B and a signed agreement with the HTVSF contractor(s) to permit sufficient access to the weapon and fuze system data necessary to conduct the required effort.
