The U.S. Army Special Operations Command, Fort Bragg, North Carolina intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with GATR Technologies, INC. under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304-(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.

GATR TECHNOLOGIES, INC., 11506 GILLELAND ROAD, HUNTSVILLE, AL 35803-4327 is the sole manufacturer and holds proprietary rights on the equipment required. The warranty service provides an extended warranty for existing GATR equipment.

***CLIN 0004, *QTY THREE (3), Antenna Refurbishment to include: replacing radome, test and respring reflector, and re-calibrate feeds.

***CLIN 0005, *QTY FOUR (4), Antenna Warranty and Service for four existing GATR 2.4M Antenna Systems.

This notice is not a request for offers. The contractor identified is the only known source for the subject requirement. However, any other responsible vendor believing they have the capability of meeting the requirement may submit their capabilities to include technical documentation to establish the potential of meeting the Government's need. To be considered, any such documentation shall be submitted in writing by 14 July 2011 at 1:00 PM EST. No extensions will be granted. A determination not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not bona fide competition exists. The applicable NAICS code is 334220, RADIO AND TELEVISION BROADCASTING AND WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURING. The Government will not pay for any information submitted.
