The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, permits and fees necessary for the Gates F6 and F10 Repair at the Joint Forces Training Base, Los Alamitos CA, 90720. Work will consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, warranties, and supervision to remove existing gates and provide replacement chain link cantilever slide gates to include all hardware and accessories. The work shall include the removal and disposal of gates, tracks, motors, gear drive assemblies, and all associated hardware. Work shall also include concrete drive approach at ingress and egress of gates, new gate operators, and safety devices with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Prospective bidders MUST attend the mandatory job walk on September 1st, at 9:30 A.M. at the Joint Forces Training Base located at 11206 Lexington Drive, Los Alamitos, California 90720. Prospective bidders shall meet in Building 244 just East of the Main Gate entrance sign and receive the briefing and then caravan to the job site and then return to Building 244 for final roll call, to be considered responsive to the bidding requirements of this IFB. Prospective bidders MUST sign-in prior to the start of the job walk, attend the entire job walk and be present for roll call at the conclusion of the job walk. Bidders who do not remain for the entire job walk will be considered non-responsive and will not be allowed to bid on this project. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirement In accordance with DoD policy and TAG mask guidance, effective 2 August 2021: ALL individuals entering the Base must wear a mask while in CMD facilities at all times. Unvaccinated individuals must specifically wear a N95 mask or a mask that meets NIOSH-approved N95 respirator standards. Vaccinated individuals may alternatively wear non-medical cloth masks. The prime contractor MUST possess an ¿A¿ General Engineering Contractor¿s License with a D-28 Doors, Gates and Activating Devices Contractor License or subcontract to a D-28. The Government Estimate for this project is $350,000.00.
