Offerors are reminded that all awardees must be actively registered as a SMALL BUSINESS in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov with a NAICS code of 561210to be considered for award.
Prospective offerors are advised that services are to be performed only by the person or persons submitting the bid. It is not permissible for the successful offeror to hire a third party or parties to accomplish the required services. Accordingly, wage rates are not applicable to the contract.
NOTE: The hourly rate quoted should include the cost of purchasing a new Fidelity Bond, not a Rider. (All gate attendants who will be working under a single contract may be identified in a single bond; i.e., husband and wife may submit one bond that includes both names.) Bonds must be submitted within 30 days of notification of award. Failure to submit bonding within 30 days of notification of award shall result in contract termination for default. The original copy of the bond must be submitted directly to the Corps of Engineers Office at 1222 Spruce Street, St. Louis, MO, marked to the attention of: Contracting Division, Debbie Warner. See Paragraph 1.11 of the attached Specifications for information on the requirement of providing a Fidelity Bond.
One award will be made from this solicitation. The Government will determine which quotation will result in the greatest cost savings to the Government and determine awards to be made based on price and other factors.
The hourly rate quoted will be in effect through the entire contract -- for the base period, as well as all exercised option periods.
The performance period will be for 1 calendar year and two option years based upon the work period as shown in the Appendix A. The actual work period for the two option years may vary depending upon the lake, water and weather conditions for each individual option year and will be announced as each option year is exercised. (See calendar for each campground for specific days during the base year.)
Bid prices for Carlyle Lake during the past contract period were in the $6.25 to $8.50 range.
